When You Help Others You Help Yourself Too

A great way to use the Law of Attraction is to help other people. All that positivity it generates makes you feel terrific and can encourage others to pass it forward.

When You Help Others You Help Yourself Too

Here are 5 top ways to help others:

1. Help Others to Identify Their Personal Goals

Ask Your friends what their goals are. If they don’t know, suggest you help them identify what they could be. Once you’ve done that, you can actively look for ways to help achieve them.

2. Commit a Random Act of Kindness

This can be anything from sting for a stranger’s coffee anonymously to holding the door open for someone else. Do it to help make their life a bit easier.

3. Find a Way to Make a Useful Connection for Someone Else

Passing a new client referral to another company (non-competitive) or introducing someone to the best new hairdresser in town can be as rewarding for you as it is for them. Also, it helps two people at once.

4. Give Someone a Compliment

You’ll be amazed at how much difference it makes to their day. One caveat: be careful if you’re planning to compliment a member of the opposite sex on their appearance. This could produce a bigger response than you are expecting. By the way, after you’ve complimented them, don’t hang around hoping they’ll return one to you, that’s a little bit too needy.

5. Give a Day of Your Life

If they are a client of yours, offer to volunteer yourself for a day of work at their place. Not only will it help them out, it will give you a better understanding of what they do. This can suggest even more ways that you could help them in the future. If you don’t have clients, find a local cause and volunteer a day to them.

The Next Step

Don’t just take my word for it, try it yourself. You’ll find that it’s painless and really makes a difference to people. There’s only one thing to worry about: it’s addictive. Don’t start unless you really want to help people.
