Jason Fried on Why Work Doesn’t Happen at Work

This is a great talk with a wonderfully refreshing attitude to where work actually gets done.

Jason Fried has a radical theory of working: that the office isn’t a good place to do it. At TEDxMidwest, he laid out the main problems (call them the M&Ms) and offers three suggestions to make work work.

If you enjoy this video (I’ll be amazed if you don’t!) you must check out Jason Fried’s book ReWork and Daniel Pink’s book Drive, both of which you can get via the links on the right.
